Market makers JMA Wireless, Three, Fon, SK Telecom and CBRE to contribute to SCWS, the most visionary wireless connectivity event taking place in London

SCWS World, organised by Avren Events, has announced it will feature more global giants on its programme than ever before, with support from Virgin Media Business, Fon, JMA Wireless and Blu Wireless, as well as the continued support of Huawei, Qualcomm, Nokia and ZTE. Encouraging the development of lasting relationships between stakeholders, operators and the end user community, SCWS World will be held at the InterContinental O2 Hotel in London, UK from 22 – 25 May 2017.

Leading global information and communications technology solutions provider, Huawei, has been unveiled as a Diamond sponsor, topping the extensive sponsorship programme alongside Platinum sponsors Comba, CommScope, JMA Wireless, OMOCO and Qualcomm. Nokia, a global leader in multinational communications and information technology, is the most recent to join the assembly of industry giants as a Silver sponsor.

“SCWS World is a highly useful event, which inspires conversations for new insights to be taken away,” said Guenter Klas, Senior Manager R&D at Vodafone.

SCWS World has introduced over 100 thought-provoking speakers to its 2017 agenda from world leaders in the small cell, Wi-Fi and DAS ecosystem, such as Telefonica O2, SK Telecom, KDDI, Three, BT, AT&T, ETSI, China Mobile and TalkTalk Group. Addressing an audience of over 1000 attendees, these market leaders will share their expertise and knowledge of the latest technological developments and ecosystem partnerships, in conjunction with insightful debate and discussion on key topics such as 5G and unified approaches to NFV through the HetNet.

Ritchie Peng, President, Small Cell Product Line at Huawei will share his global expertise on comparing advances in small cells, Wi-Fi and DAS for Neutral Host Enterprise on day one of the event, while Telefonica O2 and BT will share their views on multi-vendor and multi-technology models on day two.

SCWS World is exclusively partnered with the Small Cell Forum, a leading not-for-profit membership organisation which supports, promotes and helps drive the wide-scale adoption of small cell technologies. Sue Monahan, CEO of Small Cell Forum will deliver the opening remarks on day one of the show, while the leadership team will be present to deliver exclusive content, release new information and engage in one-to-one networking opportunities.

David Sackheim, Marketing Manager at Avren Events, said: “We are overwhelmed by the positive response to this year’s SCWS World, which is why we want to make the return of this flagship event more memorable than ever before. By welcoming the biggest industry players and exciting new organisations to deliver thought-provoking debates and presentations, we will open discussion about which access technology is right for each network and consumer. Alongside our new features including a Proof of Concept Zone and our Stadium IoT & Connectivity Focus Day, we are shaping the programme to create a truly educational and holistic experience for everyone in attendance.”

Other gold sponsors confirmed for the event include HUBER+SUHNER and NEC. SCWS World will be co-located with LPWA World, the Internet of Things (IoT) network event. For more information, or to register, visit the SCWS World website here.
