RF distribution solutions recently supplied to major players in the region

ETL Systems, a global designer and manufacturer of RF equipment for satellite communications, is showcasing its new technologies in RF distribution at Convergence India 2016, January 20-22 in New Delhi.

ETL has recently secured a number of important contract wins in the region, including a partnership with Grant Investrade Ltd, a part of the Hinduja Group, the premier HITS player in the country. Their world class facility in Noida uses ETL’s high resilience L-band Enigma switch matrix for RF distribution and switching. ETL’s Enigma matrix was also chosen by an Indian defence lab for broadband frequency switching. ETL have also developed custom made Ku-band passive splitter/combiner component units for one of India’s fastest growing DTH service providers.

“India is a very important region for us and that is why we have Stafford Lobo as our dedicated regional sales consultant to support our customers and prospects,” said Andrew Bond, Sales Director at ETL Systems. “We have designed new functionality and increased benefits into a series of advanced RF products and are excited for partners and potential customers in the region to see them.”

Among the products on display at ETL’s booth at Convergence India are the 32×32 Enigma Matrix and the 16×16 Victor Switch Matrix/Router. ETL’s switch matrices provide broadcasters with flexibility and efficiency in the allocation of antenna feeds to receivers, helping them to keep track of global broadcasts and to receive feeds from their reporters at live events.

“Our range of 26 L-band matrices is more than double that of our nearest competitor, enabling us to offer the best fit for customers’ requirements,” added Mr Bond. “At ETL, we pride ourselves on the flexibility and ability to respond quickly in order to ensure customers are provided with the right solution for their particular RF need. In fact, 70 percent of our largest orders in 2015 were specifically engineered to meet customer requirements.”

Other products on show at Convergence India will be ETL’s popular StingRay RF over Fibre, Dextra splitters and combiners and Alto variable gain line amplifiers.
