Quortus and Expeto today announced a co-operation that will speed the deployment of innovative communications services by wireless internet service providers (WISPs), mobile and virtual network operators (MNOs and MVNOs), and Internet of Things (IoT) product or service providers.<\/p>\n
Initial results of the companies\u2019 collaboration will be demonstrated on the Ubuntu Booth (3158) at CTIA Super Mobility 2016 (September 7 \u2013 9, Sands Expo, Las Vegas NV).<\/p>\n
The combination of Quortus\u2019 virtualized, disaggregated evolved packet core (EPC), with Expeto\u2019s expertise in security, Platform-as-a-Service deployment model, and containerization and orchestration, creates powerful solutions for the wireless ecosystem. In particular, it enables a secure, trusted architecture at the edge of the wireless network with \u201cIT-style\u201d manipulation of traffic \u2013 essential for IoT providers and for enterprises seeking to optimize their use of mobile technology. <\/p>\n
