{"id":5785,"date":"2016-06-08T19:14:20","date_gmt":"2016-06-08T19:14:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.telecomstalk.com\/?p=5785"},"modified":"2018-06-06T09:57:11","modified_gmt":"2018-06-06T09:57:11","slug":"indonesias-first-ever-international-ict-event-communic-indonesia-2016-gathers-momentum-huawei-canovate-ibm-confirm-attendance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.telecomstalk.com\/?p=5785","title":{"rendered":"Indonesia\u2019s First Ever International ICT Event \u2013 Communic Indonesia 2016 \u2013 Gathers Momentum as Huawei, Canovate and IBM Confirm Attendance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Huawei, Canovate and IBM are among the latest companies to join the line-up of more than one hundred exhibitors at Indonesia\u2019s first major ICT event \u2013 which will provide a platform for Indonesia to strengthen its quest to build a robust digital economy and ecosystem.<\/p>\n<p>Communic Indonesia 2016 \u2013 which focuses on data centres and Cloud technologies, big data, cable and satellite, and enterprise solutions \u2013 will be collocated with a dedicated series of industry events, including the Indonesia ICT Summit and Broadcast Indonesia 2016, all taking place at the Jakarta International Expo, in Kemayoran, from Wednesday, August 31 to Saturday, September 3.<\/p>\n<p>Together with Broadcast Indonesia 2016, Communic Indonesia 2016 is expected to attract more than 450 exhibitors from across Asia and beyond, showcasing ICT solutions and digital multimedia and entertainment technology to operators, ISPs and broadcasters under one roof. An exciting line up of speakers \u2013 featuring Ericsson, Hewlett-Packard and Bitcoin Indonesia \u2013 has also been confirmed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIndonesia is fast becoming South East Asia\u2019s up-and-coming region in the ICT and digital multimedia market, with huge growth potential across the country,\u201d said Show Director Rupert Owen. \u201cCommunic Indonesia will gather industry professionals from across the region to network and discuss a multitude of relevant industry issues, opportunities and challenges relating to satellite, Internet of Things, big data, Cloud, security, and 4G, 5G and LTE.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Communic Indonesia 2016 is expected to attract more than 12,000 visitors across the four days, with more than 11 countries participating, including China, Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and the USA.<\/p>\n<p>Indonesia \u2013 which spans more than 17,000 islands \u2013 currently has a population of more than 250 million people and is expected to reach 258.6 million by the end of 2016.
