The partnership will see XCellAir’s XCellRAN™ Carrier Wi-Fi solution integrated with Benu’s Virtual Service Edge (VSE), enabling operators to deliver managed business services across Small Office Home Office (SoHo), Small Medium Business (SMB) and Small and Medium-sized Enterprise (SME) markets.

Today’s operators have the opportunity to leverage their relationship with existing business customers, going beyond basic connectivity to deliver a fully managed service that has Wi-Fi at its core. But the market is predominantly serviced by over-the-top (OTT) players who are selling directly to business owners. The joint solution from XCellAir and Benu will bring to market an enhanced Wi-Fi user experience that takes into account unique operator needs. For small businesses that do not have the same expertise as established players, the partnership will provide operators with reliable Wi-Fi that enables them to deliver cost-effective services.

“We’re excited to partner with XCellAir to enhance our existing VSE solution offering for managed business networking by adding automated Wi-Fi Radio optimization and other Wi-Fi assurance capabilities,” said John De Pietro, VP Product Management at Benu Networks. “The XCellRAN solution is highly complementary to our virtualized platform to allow us to deliver scalability and elasticity for operators to cost effectively address the SoHO, SMB and SME markets.

XCellAir’s XCellRAN solution provides operators scalable Wi-Fi assurance through automated provisioning of Wi-Fi access points, automated radio optimization delivering reliable performance, and automatic healing of the network without intervention by engineers. Once integrated with Benu’s VSE, this will provide a comprehensive, fully virtualized and simplified managed Wi-Fi solution that is vendor agnostic. Furthermore, operators that choose to work with the joint solution will also have the ability to expand into other Wi-Fi areas, including homespots, hotspots and metro area deployments.

“This partnership with Benu is a great milestone for our company and is part of the vision we have for the future of Wi-Fi,” said Todd Mersch, Founder & EVP Sales & Marketing. “Following our launch last year, we have been involved in a growing number of trials and have seen a steady increase in customer engagement. Benu is an established player with a strong customer base, and this partnership not only shows that there is a need for our unique and coveted QoE solution in today’s Wi-Fi market, but also to our success as we, and our operators, step into a new market.”

XCellAir, the experts in Wi-Fi Quality of Experience (QoE), today announced its partnership with Benu Networks, a provider of Carrier Wi-Fi, SD-WAN and v-CPE for Wi-Fi and Cloud services.
