Alcatel-Lucent, Samsung Electronics, SK Telecom and Ericsson were among the winners which were announced at a gala dinner award ceremony last night (25 June) at the De Duif in Amsterdam. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Now in its fourth year the awards took place as part of the LTE World Summit and were judged by a panel of the industry\u2019s most senior experts from around the world including influential figures from BSkyB; Cable &#038; Wireless Communications, UK; EE, UK; Etisalat, UAE; Telecom Italia, Italy; Telecom Personal; Telefonica UK; Telecoms.com and Vodafone, Netherlands. <\/p>\n<p>Sam Oakley, Events Director of the LTE World Series, said: \u201cThe LTE Awards are designed to acknowledge excellence and recognise success in the evolving LTE industry.
