UAE-IX supports first Middle East Peering Forum in Dubai
February 5, 2013 | EditorThe first Middle East Peering Forum (MPF) will take place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), on 7 March 2013. UAE-IX, the carrier-neutral Internet exchange point (IXP) in the Middle East managed by DE-CIX Management GmbH in Frankfurt, is one of MPF’s main supporters. The event is aimed at peering coordinators around the world but has a special focus on peering experts from the Middle East. Public peering is the exchange of IP-based data traffic between Internet service providers through Internet exchange points like DE-CIX in Frankfurt or UAE-IX in Dubai. Read More
Data traffic at DE-CIX reaches new peak value of 2 terabits per second
