{"id":8453,"date":"2019-12-20T15:20:50","date_gmt":"2019-12-20T15:20:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.telecomstalk.com\/?p=8453"},"modified":"2019-12-20T15:20:51","modified_gmt":"2019-12-20T15:20:51","slug":"cambium-networks-and-wifinity-connect-ymca-south-ealing-in-time-for-christmas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.telecomstalk.com\/?p=8453","title":{"rendered":"Cambium Networks and Wifinity connect YMCA South Ealing in time for Christmas"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>The annual \u201cGood Connections\u201d initiative by its partner, Wifinity, saw the free Wi-Fi network installed within 12 hours <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cambiumnetworks.com\/\">Cambium Networks<\/a>, a leading global provider of wireless\nbroadband networking infrastructure solutions, has donated hardware to its\npartner, <a href=\"https:\/\/wifinity.co.uk\/\">Wifinity<\/a>,\nan ultrafast wireless broadband provider, for its third annual \u201cGood\nConnections\u201d initiative to help provide free Wi-Fi to <a href=\"https:\/\/ymcastpaulsgroup.org\/centres\/ymca-south-ealing\/\">YMCA South Ealing<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Providing\na mix of both wireless and wired solutions equipment including its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cambiumnetworks.com\/products\/wifi\/\">cnPilot<\/a>\nand <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cambiumnetworks.com\/products\/switching\/\">cnMatrix<\/a>, Cambium Networks was part of the 50-person\nteam installing the Wi-Fi network for YMCA\u2019s residents. Beginning at 7am, the\nteam installed, tested and connected the Wi-Fi for 151 bedrooms and communal\nareas at the sheltered accommodation, completing the project within 12 hours. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe\nare very pleased to have played a part in working with our partner, Wifinity\nand connecting residents which find themselves in challenging and vulnerable situations,\u201d\nsaid Dan McCarthy, Sales Manager UK, Ireland and&nbsp;Nordics at Cambium\nNetworks. \u201cThe \u201cGood Connections\u201d initiative is a fantastic cause which provides\ncommunities with access to high-performance, robust Wi-Fi equipment \u2013 enabling\nthem to remain connected with their loved ones this Christmas\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nYMCA South Ealing provides universal support to single people aged 16 and above\nwho are vulnerable and\/or at risk and need of housing.
