The UWP boot – which protects against inclement weather, contamination and corrosion – makes its debut alongside HUBER+SUHNER’s wide range of established solutions for macro cells and small cell/DAS networks.

The most common application for the UWP boot involves jumpers installed between antennas and remote radio heads which go through extreme outdoor weather conditions. As compared to tape or boot solutions often requiring tools, the UWP offers an easy-to-use, reliable and multi-cable compatibility in terms of jumper suppliers and cable sizes.

“Every year, CTIA brings together the industry’s most innovative leaders to discuss and showcase the latest and greatest technology and, every year, we look forward to participating in this conversation and solidifying our spot as a leader in the field,” said Fritz Landolt, Business Unit Manager FCO at HUBER+SUHNER. “To satisfy the next generation of bandwidth hungry data users, we need solutions that combine ease of installation, robustness and efficiency, all while reducing costs. Our future-proofed installation solutions are globally accepted by system vendors and mobile operators alike as the best-in-class products in terms of ease of installation, robustness and efficiency.”

HUBER+SUHNER’s new Quick-Fit plus assembling process and the MASTERLINE Ultimate SC solutions – a fiber optic cable system that is a very compact and easy to deploy plug and play solution for the next generation of remote radio heads – fit perfectly to this terms.

The Quick-Fit Plus was created to simplify the assembling process to fit different interfaces. The product is mountable in the field and is easy to assemble thanks to its one-piece design. In combination with an all-in-one stripping tool for ½” plenum cables, the Quick-Fit Plus can be deployed very quickly. Furthermore, it offers a greatly simplified and economic approach to cable preparation and assembly and meets the requirements of multi-carrier, high channel-count transceivers such as base stations of today’s mobile communication infrastructure networks.

Solutions for the build-up of DAS and small cells, including transport solutions and SENCITY RONDO and CUBE antennas, will also be on display at HUBER+SUHNER’s stand. The SENCITY Rondo antenna is omnidirectional and multiband, covering almost all LTE frequency bands and beyond. Responding to the highest standards of the crucial PIM (Passive Intermodulation) characteristics but also to design needs in buildings, HUBER+SUHNER antennas are meeting the ever-increasing market demands for indoor coverage of mobile communication voice and data traffic to cover an ever wider range of services.

Furthermore, at CTIA booth 4132, specialists are showing the interaction of SOLID active boxes with SENCITY antennas.

Visitors to CTIA Super Mobility 2016 can discover more about HUBER+SUHNER’s new range of small cells solutions and other solutions in Las Vegas from 7-9 September 2016 – Booth 4132 in the Tower & Small Cell Zone.

Should you wish to speak to a HUBER+SUHNER representative directly, please contact hubersuhner@proactive-pr.com

HUBER+SUHNER, a global leader in connectivity solutions, is showcasing for the first time its new universal weather protection (UWP) boot for RF connector systems this week at CTIA Super Mobility Week in Las Vegas.
