Now in its sixth year, the awards encompass the combined reach of the IP delivered TV community including IPTV, OTT, Connected TV and Hybrid TV. They ensure that the hard work and dedication exhibited by those in the sector are recognised by service providers and industry standard bodies from around the globe.<\/p>\n<p>Gavin Whitechurch, Executive Director of IP&amp;TV World Forum, says: \u201cThe awards are designed to acknowledge and honour the very best of the innovators and forward-thinkers that the global industry has to offer, as showcased by all of the entries and our winners tonight.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Telstra was notably awarded winner of the Best TV Service Innovation for its Telstra T-Box, with BT Vision winning the Best Service Growth Achievement, and DIRECTV and Samsung awarded Best Multiscreen TV Service.<\/p>\n<p>Ben Kinealy, Director of IPTV at Australian Telco Telstra, says: \u201cTelstra\u2019s business benefits from winning this award by spotlighting the differentiation from our competitors. Australia often suffers from the tyranny of distance but Telstra has recently demonstrated that it can work closely with partners, studios, engineers, and manufacturers in countries and time zones all around the planet.
