{"id":4646,"date":"2015-06-22T09:54:36","date_gmt":"2015-06-22T09:54:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.telecomstalk.com\/?p=4646"},"modified":"2018-06-06T10:05:43","modified_gmt":"2018-06-06T10:05:43","slug":"fujikura-showcases-new-products-at-laser-world-of-photonics-2015","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.telecomstalk.com\/?p=4646","title":{"rendered":"Fujikura Showcases New Products at LASER World of PHOTONICS 2015"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Worldwide leader of fusion splicer technology demonstrates most advanced high precision cleavers to-date<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Fujikura \u2013 the worldwide leader of fusion splicer technology \u2013 is exhibiting its latest splicing technology at LASER World of PHOTONICS until June 25.<\/p>\n<p>This includes a new line of high precision cleavers \u2013 the most advanced of their kind on the market.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe launch of our new CT line of high-precision LDF cleavers has extended Fujikura\u2019s solutions in LDF fibre splicing and glass processing preparation,\u201d said Neil Bessant, Fusion Splicer Divisional Manager at Fujikura Europe.<\/p>\n<p>This complimentary equipment to the existing Fujikura ARCMasterTM fusion splicers and LAZERMasterTM CO2 laser splicer supports customers even further than before in their fibre operation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur new CT line of large diameter optical fibre cleavers offer high precision LDF capability and cleaving to a level of precision that tops anything currently available on the market,\u201d continued Bessant. \u201cThe CT-106, for example, is able to perform both flat and angled cleaving. The cleavers provide advanced cleaving solutions for end-users in fibre laser, medical and optical fibre sensor applications.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fujikura is also showcasing its new FSR Series line of optical fibre recoaters, which provide advanced recoating solutions for applications in fibre laser, fibre sensing, submarine and optical components.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEach fibre recoater is engineered to very specific processes, providing flexibility to determine which features are needed. All of our fibre recoaters feature easy, automatic operation as well as easy mould and recoat material exchange,\u201d said Bessant.<\/p>\n<p>Like the CT line of cleavers, the FSR Series enhances Fujikura\u2019s pioneering ARCMaster\u2122 product line \u2013 which includes the laser splicing system, specialty fusion splicers, cleavers, strippers and other accessories \u2013 all of which will be on display at LASER World of PHOTONICS.<\/p>\n<p>Members of the Fujikura team will be at Booth 218, Hall A3 to demonstrate the range of products and answer any questions.
