Newtec<\/a>, a specialist in designing, developing and manufacturing equipment and technologies for satellite communications, has today unveiled its latest multi-carrier satellite gateway.<\/p>\n The Newtec MCX7000 \u2013 which will be displayed for the first time at the Las Vegas NAB Show this month \u2013 offers a multitude of benefits, including increased bandwidth efficiency of up to 51% for distribution to TV and radio towers and head-ends, and increased service availability, as well as OPEX and CAPEX savings. <\/p>\n Compatible with the Newtec Dialog\u00ae<\/a> multiservice broadcast platform, the Newtec MCX7000 Multi-Carrier Satellite Gateway also features multistream, Newtec\u2019s efficiency-boosting Clean Channel Technology\u00ae and Equalink\u00ae 3, a new linear and non-linear pre-distortion technology designed to compensate for the effects of distortions caused by the satellite\u2019s filters and amplifiers.
