Italtel has received the \u201cCisco Partner of the Year Award for South Europe for Architectural Excellence: Service Provider Architectures\u201d naming it the best partner in the South Europe region in the design and construction of complex architectures for service providers. <\/p>\n
The achievement recognizes Italtel\u2019s proven ability to design and implement service provider architectures such as \u201cIP Backbones\u201d and \u201cEvolved Packet Core\u201d solutions for mobile networks and cloud services, including Hosted Collaboration Services for service providers.<\/p>\n
Italtel has been operating alongside Cisco for several years in promoting and delivering solutions and architecture dedicated to service providers. In the Italian market, Italtel is a reference partner for tier one and tier two service providers, while at an international level it counts the major telco operators among its customers. <\/p>\n
Italtel and Cisco are also working together on the emerging paradigms of Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) and Software Defined Networking (SDN) to give customers a smooth evolution toward networks that are more flexible and adaptable to applications needs. <\/p>\n
