{"id":3188,"date":"2014-02-04T17:10:28","date_gmt":"2014-02-04T17:10:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.telecomstalk.com\/?p=3188"},"modified":"2018-06-06T10:12:32","modified_gmt":"2018-06-06T10:12:32","slug":"italtel-netmatch-s-worlds-first-cloud-inside-session-border-controller-launched-at-mwc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.telecomstalk.com\/?p=3188","title":{"rendered":"ITALTEL NETMATCH-S: WORLD\u2019S FIRST CLOUD-INSIDE SESSION BORDER CONTROLLER LAUNCHED AT MWC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>NetMatch-S evolves to Cloud environment with the internal adoption of Cloud technology<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Italtel today announced the availability of NetMatch-S, the world\u2019s first Cloud-inside Session Border Controller (SBC), which uses Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) and Software Defined Networking (SDN) technologies to help operators move towards the Telco in the Cloud model. <\/p>\n<p>NetMatch-S manages and secures voice, video and multimedia IP sessions at the border of Enterprises and Service Providers\u2019 networks, enabling network interoperability thanks to its distinctive interworking features.<\/p>\n<p>Virtualization and cloud infrastructure for communication services offer service providers advantages in operational cost reduction and time to market service distribution to the final customer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur NetMatch-S is the first \u201ccloud-inside\u201d SBC because it was fully designed and developed in a cloud environment,\u201d said Stefano Pileri, CEO of Italtel. \u201cMaximum flexibility, dynamic configuration and scalability to respond to customers\u2019 needs are the key features of this product which is designed for differentiating service solutions and strongly reducing OpEx.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>With its \u201cLite Edition\u201d, NetMatch-S is the first virtualized SBC to be qualified by Microsoft for interoperability with Lync 2013 and is in production on virtualized environments.
