Witnessing a staggering 77 per cent attendee growth over past two years alone, and with an impressive speaker line-up, that includes Verizon, AT&#038;T, Sprint, Clearwire, US Cellular, News360, Truphone, Google and MetroPCS, the event plays a central role for many regional carriers and promises to be the best yet. <\/p>\n<p>Event speaker, James Tagg, CTO at Truphone, comments on the importance of the event: \u201cWe want to continue to share our story, strengthen ties with our friends in the industry, develop new relationships, and work to develop a track record as a valued contributor to this emerging ecosystem&#8230;.maybe we\u2019ll catch up with some old friends while we\u2019re here.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The opening day (14 November) will also play host to the Telecoms.com LTE North America Awards, which are now in their third year and celebrate the triumphs and innovations of North America\u2019s LTE marketplace. The awards ensure global and industry-respected recognition for those who are shortlisted, including CellMax Technologies, Openet, Novatel Wireless, RAD Data Communications and Tekelec. <\/p>\n<p>Two brand new categories were introduced this year; \u2018Best Backhauling Solution\u2019 and \u2018Most Innovative LTE Application\/Service\u2019, to reflect the movements made in the LTE industry. Sam Oakley, Events Manager of the LTE World Series said: \u201cThe past year has seen an influx of LTE network deployments in the North American region, placing it at the forefront of the LTE mobile revolution.
